Finally Free

Today is the first time I have been able to get out since Monday.  The kids and I were going nuts being stuck in the house.  Since the roads looked good enough to go out, the twins and I hit the stores.  First stop, Schnucks.  We got 6 bags of cereal for free.  Next Walgreen's.  This receipt even made my husband ask how.  Total $28.52, I paid $.72.  Blink eye drops are free plus $.50 profit at Walgreen's if you have the coupon, other wise, they are just free :)

It made me laugh that when I asked the twins where they wanted to go, they wanted to get stuff for "Charity."  They talk about it like it's a person, cracks me up.  Tomorrow we take our first load to the food pantry.  I'm excited to say this load includes 14 bags of cereal, 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, 6 cans of soup, 5 tubes of toothpaste, countless other supplies.  2 boxes all for under $10.  Feels good :)

  1. Marie - I am amazed by all of this. I just feel like I don't have the time or energy to put into coupons although I want to. How do you do it? Like at Walgreens today? We need to get together and talk in person. This weekend I am picking up the Saturday paper and getting the coupons (we quit getting the paper last year because we never had time to read it) and going to start trying to figure this stuff out, but I need help. Also I will contact you on Facebook about sending coupons I won't use to you for your army base. Such a great idea and same for the food pantry. I love it!
